I am a second year Ph.D. student in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at Fudan University, co-advised by Prof. Wen Zhou and Prof. Shang-Ping Xie (Scripps).

Before embarking on my Ph.D. journey, I earned a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Fudan University in June 2023. In my sophomore year, I conducted my first research project on air quality under the supervision of Prof. Xingnan Ye from the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Fudan University. After one year of training, I joined Prof. Ruifen Zhan’s team to investigate multiple tropical cyclone events (MTCEs), supported by Fudan’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (FDUROP).

My current research focuses on the dynamics of extreme climate/weather events, including heatwaves, floods, and tropical cyclones.
