Invited by Peking University, I gave an online talk titled “When Youth Meets Meteorology: From Enthusiast to Communicator and Researcher” on World Meteorological Day this year.
I attended the AGU25 Annual Meeting in New Orleans and presented my research on tropical cyclone clusters. [Slides]

Invited by ByteDance and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, I joined Nobel Week 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden. At the Nobel laureates' press conference, I spoke briefly with 2025 Physics laureates Michel H. Devoret and John M. Martinis. They told me that asking good questions and valuing human creativity matter most for scientific research in the age of AI. I also happened to meet Fred Ramsdell, a 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine laureate, at the Nobel Prize Museum. Event record

The World Meteorological Organization published a feature on our Nature Climate Change study, highlighting the emergence of the North Atlantic as a hotspot for tropical cyclone clusters.

Check our new study in Nature Climate Change! Our results identify La Niña-like warming pattern as the main culprit that drove tropical cyclone cluster hotspots from the western North Pacific to the North Atlantic in recent decades.

I began my Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences at Fudan University under the supervision of Prof. Wen Zhou.

I graduated from Fudan University after four unforgettable years. Before graduation, I was fortunate to be selected as one of Fudan's 2023 Graduation Stars, the university's highest honor for graduating undergraduates. It was a meaningful way to close an important chapter of my life, and one that I owe in no small part to the teachers, friends, and classmates I met along the way.
